You can read our review of the Google Nexus 7 tablet and check the great selling points of Google's first tablet. In a nutshell, it has a quad core processor, an Nvidia Tegra 3 clocked at 1.3GHz, a 12-core Geforce GPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, a 7in 1,280 x 800 pixels capacitive display (Asus' TruVivid IPS panel with Corning Fit scratch-resistant glass), Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a textured chassis, a front facing camera, Wi-Fi, NFC and Chrome on Android.

Sadly, It doesn't have a microSD card slot or any HDMI ports. But at £190 or even less if you opt for the 8GB model, it could well be the tablet that Google has been waiting for to kickstart a virtuous circle. The tablet is set to be launched on the 16th of July and we're not sure whether HMV will issue the £15 Google Play voucher as well.

You can also check our hands on for the Google Nexus 7 as well as a look at Google Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the OS that powers the tablet.
