Dialaphone has cut the price of the HTC One S contracts to £15.50 per month.
The handset was unleashed back in February 2012 at Mobile World Congress and the total cost of ownership for the contract is a mere £372 over 24 months, not bad given that the phone costs around £390 SIM free (We reviewed the HTC One S smartphone back in April).
Carphone Warehouse introduced it for £16 a month a few weeks ago but the promotion is no longer available. The device is essentially HTC's followup to the HTC Sensation XE and slots right between the HTC One X and HTC One V.
Dialaphone offers the phone on Panther and Dolphin with unlimited texting and either 250MB data allowance and inclusive Orange Swapables, along with 50 minutes of calls, or 100MB data allowance and 100 minutes of calls.
The HTC One S comes with a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260A clocked at 1.5GHz with 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage and 25GB of online Dropbox storage for two years. There's no microSD card slot though.
Other featrues include a 4.3in 960 x 540 pixels AMOLED screen with Corning Gorilla glass, an 8-megapixel camera with full HD video, a f2.0 28mm wide-angle lens, a front facing VGA camera, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Beats Audio technology, and a 1650mAh battery with up to nine hours talktime.
