Motorola Motosmart: hands on video

The Motorola Motosmart runs Android Gingerbread 2.3 and will be available on T-Mobile for as little as £7 per month, or £99.99 on pay as you go.

The handset sports a 3.5in 480 x 320 screen and is powered by an 800MHz processor, with 512MB of RAM, 165MB of internal storage and support for microSD cards, plus a 3-megapixel camera.

Motorola’s Motosmart takes its design cues from the Motoluxe, with its distinctive screen design, but carries a far more affordable price tag.

The video highlights the screen and its resolution, along with the OS running the device and the key-home screen apps: the activity and social graphs. These learn what apps you are using the most and the people you contact, then group them together on the main screen for easy access.

The footage also details the tunewixi connected music player. This allows you to see what tracks are trending now and offers up access to music charts and music videos.
