Like the HTC EVO 3D, the LG Optimus Pad 3D's main selling point was its ability to display 3D albeit with 3D glasses. But like HTC's tablet, sales of the LG device have been less than spectacular to say the least.
Laptop Outlet is selling the device for a mere £280, less than half its suggested retail price from last year. It comes with a full one-year warranty and the original retail packaging.
The LG Optimus Pad is powered by an Nvidia Tegra 2 processor clocked at 1GHz and comes with 1GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, but no microSD card slot,
It has 3G functionality, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, a micro-USB 2.0 port, an 8.9in display with a 1,280 x 720 resolution, mini HDMI out, dual 5-megapixel rear cameras, the ability to record in 3D, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, GPS and a massive 6,000mAh battery.
Note that the device runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb and should, in theory be upgradable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Note that you cannot charge it through a standard USB cable.
