For the past month, TomTom, the world’s leading supplier of in-car location and navigation products, has been running a global competition, giving winners (families, or groups of friends) a dream prize of a two week trip to paradise.
So far, lucky families have been sent to tropical paradises such as St Lucia, Fiji, Mauritius and Cape Verde. But don’t worry if you missed out on those, because there’s still a chance to win a trip to paradise. Today sees the launch of the final stage of TomTom's Map Paradise competition and this time the lucky winners will be sent to the Seychelles - an island nation smack in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
What’s the catch you might ask? Well, apart from a two week all-inclusive trip of a lifetime, complete with a £10,000 cash prize, TomTom would like you to map the island using its patented GPS technology (technology now being used by Apple).
TomTom will lend you a 4x4 to explore the island, so no need to invest in a new pair of boots. The mapping could take anything from two days to two weeks – it all depends on how much time you spend sunbathing, swimming or exploring.
The competition launches today - 26 July 2012 - and final entries must be submitted prior to 9 August 2012, so best get a move on and start buying sun screen.
