Microsoft's director of Partner Experience, Eric Ligman, has compiled a list of 85 freely available eBook titles on the company's developer website, all of them published by Microsoft and covering its products and technology.
They're already available as freebies but are scattered over Microsoft's various websites worldwide so Ligman's blog posts are welcomed. Ligman included XPS, PDF, MOBI and EPUB formats where available and while the content is under copyright, he encourages users to share the list with peers and colleagues so that, as he puts it, "they can benefit from these resources".
Not all the books are focused on Microsoft products though. Some, like Linda McCarthy's Digital Book for Teens entitled, Own Your Space--Keep Yourself and Your Stuff Safe Online or Developing Critical Thinking through Web Research Skills, address a much wider audience with more neutral themes.
Interestingly, the list includes a number of titles on Microsoft's forthcoming products such as SharePoint 2013, Windows 8 and Office 2013, and cover all segments from consumers to enterprise via developers. You can download the entire collection of Microsoft eBooks here and here.
