Toshiba AT200 tablet gets price-crunched to £189

Just one day after we reported on the Toshiba AT100 price drop, we manage to find an even better Toshiba deal from another Ebay retailer, Laptop Outlet. This has the AT200, costing £189, including delivery. That is less than half its suggested retail price.

The product is reconditioned, and comes with a one-year warranty from Toshiba. It measures only 7.7mm thick and weighs a mere 535g, making it one of the lightest and thinnest large-format tablets on the market.

Unlike its predecessor, it comes with a dual-core TI OMAP4430 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The rest of the configuration leaves us to believe that the AT200 is a mere step up, from the AT100.

There’s 1GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage, with the same 5-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras as the AT100. The screen is a 10.1in 1,280 x 800-pixel Gorilla Glass display, with up to 8-hours of battery life. It has a microSD card slot, but no card provided, a proprietary docking slot, microUSB and mini HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

The AT200 is, at the time of writing, the best-value-for-money tablet on the market. It is one that will almost certainly will get Ice Cream Sandwich.
