Gaming PC with six cores and 16GB of RAM available from £375

Looking for an affordable gaming computer? Check out this system from Compsol, an eBay retailer that has sold thousands of computers already and still has a 100 per cent positive feedback.

Its £375 PC of the month packs more oomph than we’ve seen in any recent desktop deals posted on Tech Deals Pro.

The computer is powered by an AMD Bulldozer-based FX6100 processor clocked at 3.3GHz with six cores (1MB L2 cache and 95W TDP) fitted to an Asus M5A78L-M/USB3. This microATX motherboard comes with a full set of Asus-only features and offers four DIMM slots, an integrated HD 3000 GPU with Hybrid Crossfire X support, HDMI, DVI and D-Sub support, one PCIe x 16, one PCIe x 1 and two PCI slots, six SATA ports, GbE, VIA 8-channel HD audio, 10 USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports and a 16MB ROM.

The rest of the computer’s specification reads as follows: 16GB of 1,333MHz RAM, 1TB SATA3 hard drive spinning at 7,200 RPM, an AMD Radeon 7750, a DVD writer, a gaming-style casing with integrated card reader and a 700W PSU, keyboard and mouse, Wi-Fi and a full 12-months parts and labour warranty.

You can always choose to use Windows 8 Release Preview for the time being and update to Windows 8 Pro when it comes out.
