HTC’s rival to the Galaxy S3 now available on £15.50 contracts

If you are after a high-end smartphone and you're not bothered about beaming data wirelessly or talking to it, then you may want to consider this deal on the HTC One X from E2Save. (Check our review of the HTC one X).

This is a refurbished model which comes with a full 12-month warranty on T-Mobile (Text Basic). For a mere £15.50 a month (on a two year contract), you get 100 minutes, 500 texts and 250MB data. You can also opt for another tariff that gives you 250 texts, 750MB data allowance and 50 minutes.

The total cost of ownership is £372, which is much less than the cost of the phone itself, unlocked and unbranded. That said, handsets sold by E2Save are likely to be SIM free as well as the company is a subsidiary of Carphone Warehouse.

As for the HTC One X, the handset is one of three quad core smartphones on the market. It has a Tegra 3 quad core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage (with 25GB storage online via Dropbox), a 4.7in 1,280 x 720 pixels display covered with Corning Gorilla Glass, an 8-megapixel camera, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and full HD video recording capabilities.
