Ebay’s The Phone Outlet has cut down the price of the Nokia Lumia 800 to a mere £180 although it's a Nokia refurbished model that comes with a 90-day warranty, battery and charger (but not necessarily other accessories).
You can also upgrade the warranty to one year for £46, which removes the shine off the deal though. The handset was available for more than £450 at launch before rapidly falling down in price. (Check our review of the Nokia Lumia 800).
The Nokia Lumia 800 was the company’s first flagship Windows Phone and was launched last year at Nokia World in London and has since been superseded by the Lumia 900. Both models, however, will be made obsolete by the end of the year as Windows Phone 8 is not compatible with either.
Other models in the range include the Lumia 610 and the Lumia 710, arguably the best value smartphone of the range at less than £100.
The Lumia 800 comes with a single core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255T processor clocked at 1.4GHz; 512MB of RAM; 16GB storage; an 8-megapixel camera with flash; a 1,450mAh battery; a 3.7in Super AMOLED Plus Clearblack display, and finally Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Windows Phone 7.5.
