Microsoft Office 2010 Professional discounted to £200

Microsoft sells Microsoft Office 2010 professional for a staggering £300 from its official online store. However, you can get it for significantly less from at £199.95.

However, rather than paying extra for the DVD box, a casing and postage, this option allows you to conveniently download your software and gives you a product key. Note that the license is for one PC only rather than two.

The business application suite, which will be superseded soon by Office 2013, comes with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Access, Publisher and OneNote and requires at least Windows XP SP3.

Alternatively, businesses can opt for Office 365, which offers the ability to lease the suite for around £15 per month while augmenting the feature set with cloud-based capabilities.

You can have a closer look at Office 2013 and read a hands on of Microsoft's latest business office suite. Do check our dedicated Office 365 resource centre with some cracking tips about Microsoft’s online business collaboration ecosystem.
