Contract prices for Motorola Razr Maxx drop down to £16.50 per month

The Motorola Razr Maxx – which is an upgrade from the Motorola Razr - is available with next day delivery from, a Carphone Warehouse subsidiary, for as little as £20.50 per month with a £110 automatic cashback available.

The contract is on T-Mobile and features either 250MB data, 300 minutes and unlimited texts; 1.5GB of data, 50 minutes and 250 texts; or 750MB data, 100 minutes and unlimited texts.

The phone has the biggest battery on the market (a 3300mAh one) with a quoted 1060 minutes talk time with a number of features that make it suited for an out-and-about worker.

For example, its 4.3in display is covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass and its chassis is partly made from Kevlar, the same material that makes bulletproof gear safe.

Other features include a 960 x 540 pixels resolution, 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a dual core TI OMAP 4430 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread with an update to ICS coming soon, an 8-megapixel camera and a 9mm thick chassis – super thin despite the much bigger battery.
