The constant rumours and leaks regarding the fervently anticipated new iPhone may have left you confused about what the device is actually going to look like, so it’s just as well some IFA attendees showed off a fully fledged mock-up of Apple’s forthcoming product.
The replica phone incorporates many of the features that are expected on the new model, including an aluminium back cover, a larger 4in display, a new location for the headphone jack, and a smaller dock connector.
The mock-up, photographed by The Verge and pictured alongside the iPhone 4S in some images, provides a welcome iPhone appetite-whetter for Apple fans cursing the absence of the Cupertino firm at IFA in Berlin. This left bitter rival Samsung to steal some headlines, with the Galaxy Note 2 unveiled amid much fanfare by the Koreans.
The 5.5in Note 2 is likely be overshadowed in under a fortnight, however, with the next-gen iPhone expected to be launched on 12 September. Its unveiling may even come alongside a rumoured ‘iPad Mini’, though this has been contested in some quarters.
