You can now grab a two year contract for the Motorola RAZR Maxx for only £15.50 per month from T-Mobile via Mobiles.co.uk, a Carphone Warehouse subsidiary.
You can opt for either the Text Standard Internet or the Text Basic Internet packages which provides with either 750MB data, 50 minutes and 250 texts or 250MB data, 100 minutes and 500 texts.
Either way, the total cost of ownership of the phone will stand at £372, which is roughly what you’d pay for the SIM-free version, but as a single outlay rather than over two years.
The phone is a variant of the Motorola RAZR and offers the same dual-core TI OMAP4430 system-on-chip clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a 4.3in 960 x 540 Super AMOLED resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass, a Kevlar back, an 8-megapixel camera, Android 2.3 Gingerbread (with Ice Cream Sandwich coming soon) as well as more.
What sets it apart from other smartphones is that it offers a massive 17 hours of call time, thanks to the biggest battery found in any mobile on the market.
