Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 gets 3,000 clubcard points from Tesco

Tesco is offering up to 3,000 extra clubcard points for customers purchasing the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 for £398 with free delivery. In total, they will receive 3,398 points, worth up to £136 when exchanged for Clubcard deals.

The device was launched earlier this year at Mobile World Congress but sadly proved to be a timid improvement on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

It comes with a dual-core TI OMAP4430 processor with 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 10.1in 1,280 x 800 resolution, rear and front cameras and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich plus TouchWiz UI.

Its unique selling point is the stylus which allows for much finer control from the user. Unfortunately, this comes at a steep premium.

Even in comparison with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 or the Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition, the Galaxy Note 10.1 is an expensive piece of kit.

The Xoom 2 for example has almost the same specification (bar the OS, the screen size and the stylus) and costs only £185 while the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 sells for £230 after a £50 cashback from its ongoing student scheme.
