Toshiba Portege Z830 Ultrabook available from £645 with 5yr warranty

I have been impressed by the Portege Z830 so much that I am now using one as my main computer.

Now Dabs is selling this Ultrabook for as little as £645, a price that includes free delivery, a five-year warranty and an upgrade to Windows 8 Pro (up from Windows 7 Home Premium). In comparison, Ebuyer sells the same laptop for £589 so the extra £56 is money well spent.

The laptop is amongst one of the thinnest Ultrabook on the market and matches the likes of more expensive the Lenovo Carbon X1 as well as weighing only 1.12Kg. It is powered by the Intel Core i3 2367M processor, which is a dual-core model clocked at 1.4GHz with 3MB L3 cache.

This Sandy-bridge processor includes an Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics solution and is paired with a Mobile Intel HM55 Express chipset.

Other features include 4GB of DDR3 memory (upgradable to 6GB), 128MB SSD with a SATA300 interface, a 13.3in LED Backlight display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, a webcam, a backlit keyboard, a spill resistant island-style keyboard, a multi-touch touchpad, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GbE, an 8-cell 47W LiIon battery, two USB 2.0 ports with a USB 3.0 one, VGA, HDMI, a card reader and a host of Toshiba applications.
