Fujitsu Lifebook AH532 Core i5 Ivy Bridge Notebook on sale for £389

Fujitsu might not be the first brand name you’d think of when purchasing a laptop. Yet the Lifebook AH532 is possibly one of the best value PC devices we’ve seen in recent times, combining cracking features with an affordable price tag - the Fujitsu notebook is now available for just over £389 from Staples as part of a spiffing new deal.

It comes with an Intel Core i5-3210M dual-core processor based on Intel Ivy Bridge architecture and clocked at 2.5GHz with 3MB L3 cache.

There’s also 6GB of DDR3 on-board memory, a spacious 500GB hard disk drive spinning at 5400 RPM, a DVD writer, and Windows 7 Home Premium.

Combine solid memory and a good OS with Wi-Fi, an HDMI port, up to six hours battery life, and a 15.6in 1,366 x 768 pixel display and you've got the makings of a very decent machine.

The Lifebook AH532 also boasts a spill resistant keyboard, Bluetooth, a webcam and an anytime USB charge port that allows you to charge external devices - like an iPhone - even when the laptop is switched off.

Finally, add DTS Boost Enhanced speakers to the package - plus a free copy of McAfee All Access Household 2012 security software - and you have a pretty compelling bundle, with the pricing inclusive of next day delivery. Switch to Windows 8 Pro for just £14.99 as part of Microsoft's pre-launch upgrade deal and you're properly laughing.
