Head over to eBay if you want the latest Apple iPad, commonly known as the iPad 3, with a significant discount. At £347 from Wireovia_uk, a businesss seller from the auction site, the device has a steep 15 per cent discount and comes with a full one year warranty.
It runs on a dual-core Apple A5X system-on-chip clocked at 1GHz and a four-core GPU solution, with 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 0.3-megapixel front facing one, a 2,048 x 1,536 pixel, 9.7in “Retina Display” screen, 16GB onboard storage, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, iOS 6.0 and 10 hours battery life.
Like other similar Apple deals, we wonder how the retailer has managed to convince the latter (or its wholesaler) to cut down the price of the tablet by such a margin, given that it is no secret that profits on any Apple products are thin but can be propped up thanks to add-ons and accessories.
Apple’s new iPad may not be as light or as thin as the competition but it is by far the most popular tablet on the market, ahead of all other Android devices, even though the likes of the Google Nexus tablet or the Amazon Kindle Fire cost a fraction of its price.
