(ed : One of our readers has sent us an interesting thread on Zappideals from Money Saving Expert's independently run forum which leaves us to believe that potential buyers should either switch to a more expensive retailer for their iPhone 4S or tread with extra caution)
We stumbled upon what looks to be a great iPhone 4S deal from Daily deals website Zappideals. The smartphone is currently on sale there for as little as £349, a £100 discount off Apple’s recommended retail price.
The phone is unlocked, brand new and, interestingly enough, multiple units can be purchased. Postage is not included in the deal and adds another £5 to the price. Zappideals says that delivery can take up to 21 days.
The iPhone 4S, which has been replaced as Apple’s top of the range smartphone by the iPhone 5, is still a very capable handset, one that comes with a dual-core Apple A5 SoC, 512MB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 3.5in display with a 960 x 640 resolution, an 8-megapixel camera, iCloud, full HD video recording, iOS 6, Siri and much more.
As with any other purchases, we would advise you to make any transaction using a credit card to get maximum protection if the deal turns sour.
