Hitachi 47in Full HD 3D TV down to £420

UK retailer Argos is selling a 47in LCD TV from Japanese manufacturer Hitachi, with full HD and 3D capabilities for as little as £420, which is a great price for a known brand.

The television comes with four pairs of passive 3D glasses, a Freeview tuner (not HD unfortunately), 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, a contrast ratio of 1500:1, two SCART sockets, one USB port, three HDMI ones, one PC input socket, Component video and composite sockets, two 8W speakers and a 82W power consumption.

It is worth noting that it is cheaper than Argos’ own brand, Bush, by a wide margin and Hitachi’s own non 3D TV set. As expected though, the television comes with a fairly big margin.

Interestingly, there’s an Ethernet port on one of the pictures of the device, one which is not listed in the spec sheet and you can bag the TV without paying anything for six months.

Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any reviews of the television online.

The average price of large screen televisions has dropped significantly over the last few months with the cheapest 42in displays available for under £300 and 32in ones on offer for around £160.
