Sharp LC60LE636E LED 60in TV available from £910

Argos is selling the Sharp LC60LE636E 60in Smart LED TV for £910 including free delivery for the next seven days.

However, you can request John Lewis to match that deal as part of its promise to never knowingly be undersold. The high street retailer will usually cut down the price of the product - by £89 in this case - and throw in a five year guarantee for free.

The LC60LE636E is one of the cheapest large-format televisions on the market and uses edge-lit LED technology. It sports a built-in Freeview HD tuner, a 100Hz refresh rate, four HDMI ports, a memory card slot, a SCART socket, three USB ports, two 10 Watt speakers, a full HD resolution and a 152cm diagonal.

Other features include Wi-Fi capabilities, an Ethernet port, Smart TV (but no PVR capability or 3D functionality), a VGA port, headphone and AV sockets, a 101W power consumption and a weight of 32.6kg. Note that John Lewis also provides customers with a £50 discount on its Sound Booster device.
