Apple iPad 3 tablet available from £349

British electronics retailer Askdirect, is selling eight Apple iPad tablet SKU from as little as £289 and a discount of up to 13 per cent, all via daily deals website Groupon.

The 16GB iPad 2 is on sale for £289, the 3G version for £389, the 16GB new iPad retails for £349 (compared to £399 at Apple store) with the 3G version adding another £90, the 32GB and 64GB models cost £419 and £489 respectively with 3G iterations costing £90 and £100 extra respectively.

The old iPad 2 is already almost 18 months old while the New iPad – which is slightly thicker and heavier than the latter - was launched earlier this year.

The latter comes with a custom-designed Apple A5X system-on-chip, 4G functionality, a 9.7in 2,048 x 1,536 pixel Retina display, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front facing one, full HD video recording, up to 10 hours battery life, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, finger print resistant oleophobic coating and iOS6.

Note that you will only be able to buy one voucher. The price includes delivery and it will take up to seven days for the items to be delivered. More than 1,300 units have been sold already.
