Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime with keyboard for only £360

You can now get the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet for only £360 with its keyboard docking station and including free delivery, from Amazon.

The device runs on quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 system-on-chip clocked at 1.3GHz with 1GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, a 10.1in 1,280 x 800 Super IPS+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass, SonicMaster audio technology, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.2-megapixel front facing one, full HD video recording, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, HDMI, Bluetooth and one year free unlimited Asus online web storage.

The Eee Pad Transformer runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb (upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich) and includes a number of Asus apps like MyContent, MyNet, @Vibe and MyDesktop.

The tablet weighs only 585g and is 8.3mm thick. The mobile dock offers a full island-style keyboard and touchpad with a USB port and an additional battery to power the tablet for up to 18 hours.

It is worth nothing that the tablet is only £30 more expensive than the Apple iPad 2 and £40 cheaper than the new Apple iPad, as well as compatible with 64GB microSD card slots which can boost the onboard storage to a whopping 96GB.
