Packard Bell TS11 Gaming Laptop price-crunched to £320

You can grab the Packard Bell TS11 laptop from Dabs (via eBay) for as little as £320 including delivery, a price that even includes a free upgrade to Windows 8 Pro (when the latter goes on sale on 26 October).

Note that you will need to pay £15 on and after filling a form on Packard Bell’s website, you will be refunded the expense.

The TS11 comes with a quad-core AMD APU, the A6-3420M, which is clocked at 1.5GHz but can turbo boost to 2.4GHz. Based on the Llano technology, it comes with 4MB L2 cache and a Radeon HD 6520G GPU (that can be run in tandem with the dedicated GPU).

Other features include 4GB of RAM (upgradable to 8GB), a massive 500GB hard drive (spinning at 5400RPM), a DVD writer, a dedicated AMD Radeon HD7470M GPU with 1GB of RAM, GbE, Wireless, a webcam, a card reader, three USB 2.0 ports, a HDMI port, VGA port, up to four hours battery life (via a 6-cell battery) and a 15.6in display with a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels.

As expected, it comes with Windows 7 Home Premium, Microsoft’s Office 2010 starter plus an assortment of Acer’s preloaded applications like Backup Manager and ePower management.
