Sony Xperia T available on £20.50 contracts

Those looking for a high end smartphone from a reputable phone maker may consider the Sony Xperia T, which was announced only two months ago at IFA in Germany.

Tesco Phone Shop sells the handset on Orange with 200 minutes, unlimited texts, 100MB data and a pair of free Sony headphones for only £20.50 per month on a two year contract. That’s only £492 for that duration, £93 more than its SIM Free, unlocked counterpart.

The Xperia T is the successor of the Xperia S and the main visual difference is the omission of the transparent LCD bar while keeping the same ergonomic arc design as the Xperia S and the Arc S.

As for the hardware configuration, the smartphone runs on a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon system-on-chip, the MSM8960, clocked at 1.5GHz.

Other features include 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, 50GB free cloud storage for life, a one-touch NFC Walkman App, a 13-megapixel camera with Exmor R sensor, Android 4.0 ICS, a 4.55in 1,280 x 720 pixels HD Reality Display with Mobile Bravia Engine, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Screen Mirroring, Playstation Certitication and a 60-day subscription to Music Unlimited.
