Acer Iconia A110 tablet down to £149.98

Ebuyer and Acer have teamed up to deliver the Acer Iconia A110, Acer’s answer to the Google Nexus 7, for £149.98 after a £30 cashback.

To get the cashback, users will need to complete an online form no sooner than 30 days and no later than 60 days from the purchase date and upload the proof of purchase as part of the claims process.

At £149.98, the Acer Iconia A110 is the cheapest quad-core tablet we’ve seen yet, beating the Google Nexus 7 by £9. Compared to the latter, the A110 lacks the 1,280 x 800 pixel display, instead offering a 1,024 x 600 pixel one, possibly selected as a cost-cutting decision.

The Iconia A110 has the upper hand when it comes to other features though; there’s a microSD card, an HDMI port and a 2-megapixel front facing camera.

They both come with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and the GLONASS navigation system.

Adding a 32GB microSD card will bump up the price by around £10, which makes the Iconia A110 an excellent purchase for those looking to swap microSD cards often.
