Logitech K810 keyboard capable of linking with three separate devices

Last week, we brought you news of Logitech's new mice and touchpad designed for Windows 8, and today we have another addition to the group, the Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810 (opens in new tab).

The newly announced product features Easy-Switch, which will allow users to simultaneously connect with three Bluetooth-enabled devices, and switch between them at the touch of an allocated function button.

Though optimised for Windows 8, the device is also compatible with other operating systems, meaning users can "toggle between typing an email on your Windows PC, to taking notes on your Apple iPad, to replying to a text on your Android smartphone."

It also features USB rechargeability, a battery indicator which flashes red when the keyboard needs charging and backlighting which adjusts in accordance with the environment. Three hours are required for a full charge.

The keyboard will be available for £89.99 and can be pre-ordered from the Logitech website now (opens in new tab). It is expected to ship later this month, in time for the 26 October launch of Windows 8.
