HootSuite (opens in new tab)has added five new platforms to its App Directory.

The Vancouver-based social media management service now offers CMP.LY, Nexalogy, reddit, and StumbleUpon on its dashboard. They are all available to use immediately.

"Our newest wave of apps target the growing population of social business users," stated Ryan Holmes, CEO of HootSuite. "Consumer-centric platforms now matter more than ever in social business and millions already use networks such as reddit and StumbleUpon to navigate and curate the web."

HootSuite's App Directory (opens in new tab), which was launched towards the end of 2011, now features 35 applications constructed by third-party developers.

"By integrating these platforms into our App Directory, we open up new ways of exploring external content from our dashboard, while keeping teams collaborating and conversing around social within HootSuite," Holmes added.

Additionally, the App Directory now provides a toolkit which enables third-party developers to build fresh apps.
