Samsung Galaxy S Player on sale for £100

Its design reminds us of the Samsung Galaxy S2 but this is not a phone. Meet the Samsung Galaxy S Wi-Fi, a 4.2in media player which is available from Totally Gadget, via eBay for £100 with free delivery and 100 Nectar Points.

The device has a 4.2in 800 x 480 capacitive display, 8GB onboard storage, 512MB of RAM, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, has a FM radio and is compatible with DLNA while offering SoundAlive and Allshare plus a rear and front facing camera.

You won’t be able to make calls unless you use a VoIP application (which you can download via Google Play) from the likes of Skype or Rebtel.

Note that this device, which is also known as the YP-GS1CW, comes with an additional 8GB microSD card, FIFA 12, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Sygic Sat Nav GPS application, three changeable covers, a premium pair of headphones and one year warranty.

Is it worth it? Well the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 2.0, which is a bigger version of this media player with a better processor, a higher screen resolution but only one camera and no FM radio, costs £19 extra.
