Novatech nFinity N1412 Ultrabook available from £450

UK-based Novatech is selling the nFinity N1412 Ultrabook for only £450. This is one of the cheapest brand new Ultrabooks we’ve seen on the market recently.

The price includes Windows 7 Home Premium, but any upgrades to Windows 8 made before the end of January 2013 will be provided cost-free.

The Ultrabook is powered by an Intel i5 Core processor. The i5-3317 is based on Ivy Bridge, has two cores, runs at 1.7GHz and packs 3MB cache. It has a 14in LED matte display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, 4GB of RAM, an Intel 520 Cherry Ville 120GB SSD drive, Intel HD Graphics 4000, two speakers, GbE, two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 port, HDMI, VGA, a webcam, a card reader, Wi-Fi and an Intel HM77 chipset.

With a 59Whr battery, the nFinity N1412 has a battery life of up to seven hours and can start up in just 15 seconds. At only 18mm thick and weighing around 1.65kg, it is well within the limits of what can be classified as an Ultrabook.

All Novatech PCs come with a one year return to base warranty and lifetime support (via email or live chat).
