Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone handset down to £12.50 per month

Tesco Mobile is selling the Nokia Lumia 800 for only £12.50 per month for a total cost of ownership of £300 over two years, a superb deal for a phone that costs half that price on PAYG.

The plan includes 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and 500MB data, plus you get triple Clubcard joy on your monthly bill, which translates into 900 points over two years (or up to £36 worth of deals on Tesco Clubcard). Tesco Mobile also offers capped contracts which are perfect for parents trying to limit their children’s monthly bills.

The Lumia 800 was Nokia’s first flagship Windows Phone smartphone (now superseded by the Nokia Lumia 820 and the Lumia 920). It is still a very capable entry level handset, although it will receive Windows Phone 7.8 rather than Windows Phone 8. Check out our review of the Nokia Lumia 800.

It is powered by a single-core Qualcomm MSM8255 system-on-a-chip clocked at 1.4GHz and supported by 512MB of RAM. It also features 16GB of on-board storage plus it has an 8-megapixel camera, a 3.7in 800 x 480 pixel ClearBlack display, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, plus an array of Nokia and Windows Phone services like Nokia Music, Nokia Maps, Bing, Internet Explorer 9, Xbox Live and more.
