Price of Nokia Lumia 920 4G reduced by Phones4U

If you’re after a decent smartphone on EE 4G, then consider the Nokia Lumia 920, which comes with a free wireless charging plate from Phones4U as well as some exclusive features.

While the headline tariff currently available from Phones4U for the Windows Phone 8-based Lumia 920 costs £140 (with a monthly fee of £36), we’d probably opt for the next one up which costs £41 per month but has an upfront fee of £20, which means that the TCO (£1004) is essentially the same – a no-brainer.

In the latter case, you get unlimited minutes and texts and also 1GB of data, twice that of the £140 offer.

The phone runs on a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5GHz, with Windows Phone 8, 1GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, a 4.5in Puremotion HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and a 1,280 x 768 resolution.

Other features include wireless charging capabilities and NFC, GPS, a 8.7-megapixel camera with full HD recording, Pureview and Carl Zeiss optics.

The phone, which was unveiled at the beginning of September together with the Lumia 820, is the new top of the range handset from the firm.
