The last time we looked at this superb tablet that is the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Infinit TF700T, it was on sale for £599 at Amazon UK (albeit in its 64GB iteration) but now, French company Handiordi is selling it with a French AZERTY docking station/keyboard for £436.80 with a £20 delivery charge and a two year European guarantee as standard.
It runs on a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 system-on-chip clocked at 1.6GHz, has a microSD card slot, a microHDMI port, has a 10.1in full HD (1,920x1,200) Super IPS+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2, 1GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, is only 8mm thick and weighs less than 600g.
Battery life with the docking station reaches around 16 hours and the tablet comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Other features include a rear 8-megapixel camera with flash and a 5-element lens, 8GB online storage space from Asus for life, a 2-megapixel front facing camera
Arguably you could buy a UK QWERTY keyboard (or use the onscreen keyboard or a third party physical keyboard) to complement the Eee Pad.
It would also be interesting to see whether Asus brings out a Windows RT version of the TF700T, something better than the current Vivotab TF600RT.
