Nokia’s Lumia 920 successor to sport aluminium body?

Nokia is planning to follow up its polycarbonate-constructed Lumia 920 with a thinner, lighter aluminium handset codenamed Catwalk, the Verge has reported.

"Sources familiar" with the inner workings of the Scandinavian company anticipate a 2013 release for the unconfirmed device.

The Catwalk will allegedly have internal specifications similar to the Lumia 920, Nokia's current flagship model, and is likely to be positioned as an iPhone competitor, since it’s expected to boast comparable weight and size.

Nokia is also rumoured to be planning two additional Lumia releases that will round up its smartphone line-up later this year. There is no word on whether they will bear a similar construction to the Catwalk, or whether they will remain loyal to the current generation of Lumias' polycarbonate bodies.
