Mobile phone operator O2 is selling the Sony Xperia T for just £10.50 per month, that’s a total cost of ownership of £252 which compares very well with its suggested retail price of nearly £400 back in October 2012. Just two days ago, we had the device in our deals section for £15.50 but with a beefier plan, a couple of goodies and as a brand new device.
The Xperia T was announced four months ago at IFA in Germany and the plan on O2 includes 50 minutes, unlimited texts and 100MB data allowance. As for the phone itself, it is powered by the MSM8260A SoC from Qualcomm, a dual-core model clocked at 1.5GHz with an Adreno 225 GPU and build using a 28nm process which makes it cooler to run.
Other features include 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a 4.55in, 1280x720 pixel display with Reality Display technology, Android 4.0 ICS, a 13-megapixel camera with full HD video recording, a 1,850mAh battery, Playstation certification, screen mirroring capabilities, NFC, aGPS and a Sony Walkman app.
