Google Nexus 4 Stock Update: Expect the phone to go on sale at 3pm

An anonymous tipster has informed news website AndroidPolice that the Nexus 4 smartphone, Google and LG’s uber popular handset, will be back on sale in at least seven territories by this evening (UK Time).

The phone is already like in the US, Germany and Canada and will apparently be available for sale at 3pm in the UK, France, Spain and Canada. It is currently listed as being out of stock for the 8GB and 16GB models.

Like the Google Nexus 7, the Nexus 4 has caused a massive ruckus in the mainstream Android smartphone market, causing many to cut down their prices.

LG itself was one of the victims as it had to discount the LG Optimus 4X HD to less than £300.

The Nexus 4 comes with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, 8GB or 16GB onboard storage (without a microSD card), a 4.7in 1280 x 768 pixel IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2, an 8-megapixel camera, NFC, Bluetooth, a massive 2,100mAh battery, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and more.

Check out the Google Play store at 3PM (less than 15 minutes from now) and in the meantime why not check our review of the LG Nexus 4.
