Nokia Lumia 820 available for £15.50 per month with a small upfront fee

Check out the Nokia Lumia 820 Windows Phone 8 smartphone from BuyMobilePhones, which is available on the O2 200 Bonus Internet All Rounder tariff and costs £15.50 a month with an upfront fee of £60.

That’s a total cost of ownership of £432 (or an effective pay monthly cost of £18). The plan includes 200 cross-network mins, unlimited texts, 500MB data allowance, UK Wi-Fi via O2 & BT Openzone and Priority Moments.

The Lumia 820 runs on a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC clocked at 1.5GHz with 1GB of RAM, 8GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a 4.3in ClearBlack AMOLED display with a 800 x 480 resolution, an 8-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, an optional shell casing that provides wireless charging and a polycarbonate chassis.

The phone was unleashed back in September in New York together with the Nokia Lumia 920. The Finnish manufacturer will hold a special event at MWC later next month which will almost certainly see the launch of a number of devices including, some reckon, a Windows RT tablet.
