The Xperia T smartphone was only released a few months ago at IFA in Germany as Sony’s latest top of the range model. It already looks like it is going to become a mainstream one imminently as the Xperia Z goes on sale at the end of next month in the UK.
Affordable Mobiles sells the Xperia T for £15.50 per month on a two-year contract on O2; that’s a total cost of ownership of only £372. It includes 200 minutes, 500MB data and unlimited texts plus Unlimited UK WiFi via O2 & BT Openzone as well as Priority Moments.
As for the smartphone itself, other than the fact that it was featured in the latest James Bond, Skyfall, it has a 13-megapixel camera, a 4.55in 1,280 x 720 pixel Reality Display screen, NFC capability, 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, runs on Android 4.0 ICS and is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon system-on-chip clocked at 1.5GHz.
It is not as thin as some of its rivals and some have said that its battery life is not as good as it could be. Why not check for yourself and read our comparison between the Sony Xperia T and the Xperia S.
