ZTE is selling the V970M, otherwise known as the Grand X, for as little as £150 on its eBay store with 150 Nectar points and free delivery.
That particular model – which is unlocked - is not available in the UK officially and comes with a number of interesting features not present on the UK model..
Firstly, it is a dual SIM model with dual standby mode with one of them supporting WCDMA. It is also powered by a dual-core Mediatek MTK6577 processor clocked at 1GHz and paired with 512MB of RAM, 4GB onboard storage.
Also on the spec sheet are a rear 5-megapixel camera with flash, a 4.3in 960 x 540 capacitive displauy, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a microSD card slot (with a bundled 2GB card), FM Radio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi but no front facing camera (which is a shame).
The phone shares a number of features with the Samsung Galaxy S2 and is one of the more affordable dual-core handsets on the market. Its main competitor around that price point is the Sony Xperia U which is much smaller and crucially doesn’t have a microSD card slot.
