We managed to track down the Samsung Galaxy S3 for as little as £19.66 per month on a two year contract. That’s an upfront fee of £100 with a monthly cost of £15.50 per month, which equates to a total cost of ownership of £472.
That’s around £100 more than what you’d fork out for a SIM Free version of the smartphone, making it probably one of the best S3 pay monthly deals on the market.
The offer is available via Affordable Mobiles on O2’s 200 Bonus package which provides with 200 minutes, unlimited texts, 500MB data, unlimited UK Wi-Fi via O2 and BT Openzone and access to O2’s exclusive Priority Moments loyalty scheme.
The Galaxy S3 was announced back in May 2012; it has a quad-core Exynos 4412 SoC clocked at 1.5GHz with 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 4.8in Super AMOLED HD display (that’s 1,280 x 800 pixels), a rear 8-megapixel camera, a microSD card slot, S Beam, S Voice and Smart Stay and an estimated talk time of up to 12 hours on 3G.
The phone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is upgradable to 4.1 Jelly Bean. Note that the S4, the follow up to that handset, is expected to be released late April. Check out our review of the Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone.
