BlackBerry Z10 smartphone now available from £450!

It only took a few more days to see the price of the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone, which was announced last week, fall a tad more. The handset, which is LTE-compatible, is currently on sale on PAYG at Orange for £450 with an additional £10 top up voucher.

You will be able to get a further £30 discount should you spend an extra £50 on top up (in other words, for £480, you get the phone AND £60 worth of top up credit, check out this article to find out more). The BlackBerry Z10 will be compatible with EE and T-Mobile networks.

The device was launched towards the end of January and features a brand new QNX-inspired BlackBerry 10 OS. The phone itself looks a lot like the iPhone 5 but with some notable differences (other than the OS).

It has a 4.2in 1,280 x 720 pixels display, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM SoC clocked at 1.5 GHz with 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot (located underneath the removable battery), an 8-megapixel camera and NFC compatibility.

Early reviews show that the main issue with the BlackBerry Z10 is its battery life. Other have also pointed out that BlackBerry’s App Store despite its 70,000 apps still lacks some popular apps like Amazon Kindle.
