£216 XFX Radeon 7950 HD 3GB graphics card: Now with five great games for free

Online retailer Dabs is selling the XFX AMD Radeon HD 7950 for £216 (otherwise known as the FX-795A-TDJC). The price includes five great games; Crysis 3, BioShock Infinite, Far Cry 3, Hitman Absolution and Sleeping Dogs, five titles with a combined market value of around £130.

The card uses the AMD Radeon HD 7950, the manufacturer’s mainstream GPU which is built on a 28nm process. It features an interesting dual-fan design and as expected, the card has a dual-slot design, which will make Crossfire configurations slightly tricky.

XFX calls its cooling solution, the Double Dissipation Edition, and according to the company, the two fans “triples air flow decreasing processor temperature by 7°C and noise by 13dB”.

Not bad at all, especially when coupled with another of XFX’s technology, Ghost Thermal, which is a floating cover that allows air to travel freely over the card, cooling the PCB and the components.

The other specification of the card include 3GB GDDR5 RAM clocked at 5GHz, a GPU with 1,792 stream processors and clocked at 800MHz and an array of connectors including: two mini DisplayPorts, dual-link DVI, HDMI and DVI-D. Note that this card requires a 500W PSU.
