£1200 HP Spectre One 23 AIO PC: The Windows version of the Apple iMac

Should you be looking for a very capable, yet attractive all in one desktop computer, then you should be looking at the HP Spectre One 23, which costs £1,200 at John Lewis and comes with a two-year warranty.

This all in one looks a lot like the Apple iMac, down to the classy touchpad and the wireless keyboard (check the picture above). It features an Intel Core i5-3470T processor. It is a dual-core processor clocked at 2.9GHz, based on Ivy Bridge, with 3MB cache and the ability to overclock to 3.6GHz.

Other features include a HD webcam, a DVD writer, an aluminium finish, an Nvidia Geforce 610M GPU with 1GB of RAM, 1TB hard drive, a card reader, Windows 8 OS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports, Beats Audio system with twin sub-subwoofer speakers, all encased in a chassis dominated by a 23.6in 1,920 x 1,080 resolution.

As expected, HP has bundled a fair few amount of applications like HP Connected Remote, Connected Music, Connected Phonto, Games Recover Manager and Cyberlink Power DVD.

You will be able to add a third year of warranty for an additional £60 and get Microsoft Office 365 Home Premium 2013 for £59.95, a saving of £20 for a 12-month subscription valid for five PC.
