£75 MAD Catz F.R.E.Q. 5 gaming handset

The MAD Catz gaming headset is on sale at Currys for £75, that’s a saving of £55 off its initial selling price.

It comes with a noise-cancellation microphone, is compatible with Skype and is a wired, rather than a wireless headset plus it will work with your smartphone.

According to the product description, it comes with premium-quality 50mm drivers with a detachable noise cancellation microphone that even has an illuminated mute indicator.

There’s also an on-ear control and the headset is said to be “lightweight in design with lightweight metal”.

The headset is actually a Cybord-branded gaming headset and has links with popular accessories manufacturer Saitek.
