£299 Packard Bell EasyNote TE11 laptop: Core i3 and a large display on a budget

Buyitdirect sells the Packard Bell Easynote TE11 laptop from as little as £299 on its eBay account with free delivery and 299 Nectar Points. The laptop comes with an Intel Core i3 processor, the dual-core i3-2110M which has 3MB L3 cache and is clocked at 2.4GHz.

There’s also 4GB of RAM (shared with the Intel GPU), a 500GB hard disk drive, a 15.6in 1,366 x 768 pixel display, Windows 8, a card reader, VGA port, a DVD writer, three USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi and a HDMI connector.

All in all a very decent, albeit conservative-looking laptop. We appreciate the fact that it comes with a dedicated numeric keypad as well as a touchpad that located closer to the left edge.

Packard Bell has been acquired a few years ago by Acer. The company also bought Gateway and Emachines and announced earlier this year that it killed the latter brand.

Other competitors of the Packard Bell Easynote TE11 laptop with a similar configuration and costing around the same price include the £249 Compaq CQ58 or the Lenovo IdeaPad S300.
