BlackBerry Z10 12-month contract costs only £47 per month

Phones4U is selling the BlackBerry Z10 on a 12-month contract for as little as £47 per month on Vodafone. For £564, you get the smartphone, unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data. This appears to be a massive misprice but we’d strongly suggest prospective customers to get it while they can.

The BlackBerry Z10 was released earlier this month and we reviewed it already, pointing out to the fact that it had very poor app support and an execrable battery life, although there are plenty of positive points.

The cheapest mobile contracts (worth around £600) for the Z10 tend to be with a handful of minutes, a squeezed-out data quota and at least two years long.

The phone is powered by a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC clocked at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a microUSB port, a microHDMI connector, a front facing 2-megapixel camera, a rear 8-megapixel one, full HD video recording, a 5-element f2.2 lens plus a dedicated Image Signal processor.

Note that the phone costs around £460 on PAYG and £480 SIM Free.

Desire worked at ITProPortal right at the beginning and was instrumental in turning it into the leading publication we all know and love today. He then moved on to be the Editor of TechRadarPro - a position he still holds - and has recently been reunited with ITProPortal since Future Publishing's acquisition of Net Communities.
