Data Centre World 2013 set to become bigger

Data Centre World, which claims to be the fastest growing free-to-attend data centre event in the UK, said that it has seen an increase in attendee registrations compared to 2012, which would make of 2013 the best year yet.

The show, which was previously held at Olympia, will this year take place at the bigger ExCeL, London due to its growth and will run from the 27-28 February. At the event, exhibitors will be addressing the most challenging issues affecting the data centre sector. These include the rising volume of digital data that has to be processed and stored; the increasing demand for enhanced security; power usage effectiveness; energy efficiency and the latest products and services driving the sector.

John Hatcher, Data Centre World conference director said: "The show continues to expand year on year and we're expecting 2013 to be the biggest yet, topping the 3,000 attendees which attended last year. The volumes of stored data are increasing rapidly, together with the need for enhanced security, energy efficiency, reduced costs and effective power use. This event will discuss these issues while enabling companies to network with solution providers and technical experts providing the best support and advice."
