Samsung Galaxy S4 build-up has started getting serious. The circulation of invites to the New York launch event (opens in new tab) last week has prompted the rumour mongers to up their game, and this morning we have seen reports relating to the storage capacity and colours of the device (opens in new tab), as well as an apparent benchmark leak revealing the phone’s specs (opens in new tab).
Keen to exploit the growing momentum, Samsung has chosen today to release its first teaser video for the Galaxy S4, which can be viewed above.
But if you were expecting sneak glimpses of the phone itself you may be disappointed. Instead we are given a precocious child in a suit, who does get a peak of the S4. But we don’t. The release of an official video has nevertheless whet the appetite a little more ahead of that 14 March launch.
Piecing together the current Galaxy S4 rumours, we expect the device to pack an Exynos Octa 5410 CPU clocked at 1.8GHz, a PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU, 2GB of RAM, have a 4.99in full HD 1920×1080 display,a 13-megapixel camera, run Android 4.2 out the box, support GSM/WCDMA/LTE networks, and come in 16, 32 and 64GB versions with a black or white colour scheme.
