Dell sells the XPS One 2710 all in one computer for as little as £773 in its online outlet store. These are limited in numbers and are served on a first come, first served basis.
The main feature of that AIO is its gorgeous screen, a 27in 2,560 x 1,440 pixel display which also houses the base unit and is presented on a classic silver stand. Note that the display is non touch, which means that it won’t make the most of Windows 8, should you want to upgrade the Windows 7 Home Premium loaded on it.
Other features include a dual core Intel Core i5-3450S processor clocked at 2.8GHz with 6MB L3 cache, 4GB of RAM, a 1TB hard disk drive spinning at 7,200RPM, a DVD writer, a 2GB Nvidia GT640M graphics chip, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE plus a wireless keyboard and mouse.
A number of variants are also currently available online including some with an articulated stand, a dedicated system solid state drive or Windows 8.
Given that a stand-alone 27in LCD display with a quad-HD resolution costs around £400, the XPS One 2710 is a massive bargain if you’re after a top end all in one PC. Check out our review of the Dell XPS One 27 Touch with a much better configuration (and a list price of £1700).
