HTC One costs as little as £26.33 per month

You can preorder the HTC One, the new flagship smartphone from the Taiwanese company, from Mobiles.co.uk on TalkMobile for a mere effective £26.33 per month on a two year contract after a £40 automatic cashback.

That’s a total cost of ownership of £632 for the duration of the contract. Mobiles.co.uk is owned by Carphone Warehouse while Talkmobile is part of Talktalk and as such one can expect the HTC One to be unlocked.

The tariff includes 100 minutes, 100 texts and 100MB data and is destined either for very light users or those who wish to get the phone on a cheap contract and swap the SIM inside for their existing ones.

The key features of phone are its aluminium chassis, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, a free pair of Beats by Dr. Dre urBeats earphones, two front facing speakers, a 4.7in 1,920 x 1,080 pixel display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, HTC Zoe, HTC Ultrapixel camera and HTC Blinkfeed.

The phone itself was launched in February before Mobile World Congress. You can check our hands-on of the HTC One here.
